Confidentiality is the key to building rapport in sessions however, there are some situations where confidentiality might be broken for example if you are in danger of harming yourself or others, if there is child, elderly, or dependent abuse I am a mandated reporter. If your files are subpoena by a judge. You are also able to request your files, but it is to my discretion, summary can be provided.

The first session is about easing in. We will spend some time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you here, and setting some goals together. You do not have to prepare or say anything “perfect.” It is simply a chance for you to share what is on your mind and for me to listen.

Each session runs for a total of 53 minutes. How long you stay in therapy is completely up to you. Some people come in for just a handful of sessions to work through a specific challenge, while others find ongoing support useful for deeper growth. We will figure out what feels right for you.

You will start to notice shifts, such as feeling lighter, more in control, or better able to handle situations that once felt overwhelming. I will also check in with you regularly so we can talk about your progress and make sure therapy is helping you move toward the changes you want.

I work most often with people dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, and the weight of past experiences. My focus is helping you find calm in the middle of those struggles and building tools that let you feel more grounded and confident in your day- to-day life.

I would describe my style as warm, supportive, and down to earth. I use proven approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I always adapt them to what fits you best. If you are nervous about starting therapy, know that is completely normal. I will move at your pace and create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself.

Yes, $160 an hour. Enhanced privacy and confidentiality, no diagnosis is required which is often needed for insurance and is often added to medical records. Your records are not shared with insurance companies which maintains strict confidentiality, in addition there are no insurance restrictions, you are not limited to an insurance plan.
